Making Math Matter with Manipulatives Regional Math Session: Sixth Grade - Ninth Grade
In these sessions, participants will dive into the strategic uses of familiar/popular and readily available manipulatives that engage and support the development of students' conceptual understanding of mathematics. They will experience the versatility of manipulatives and how they can aid in differentiation during whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction. The afternoon session will focus on a different assortment of manipulatives than the morning session. The manipulatives utilized will be appropriate for grade level standards.
